That makes it sound like I am a total dofus and that there is something wrong with me if I cannot learn to juggle in no time. I don't really know if I should be offended or not...

I wouldn't give a damn on that "easy-to-learn" contention. But it sure will be "great on co-ordinating your hands" (or whatsoever).
I can tell you more on this issue of juggling after I have attended Klaus S.'s lecture tomorrow on:
"Jonglage als logistisches Problem - Ein mathematisches Modell mit komplexen Fallstudien" (he wil be assisted by his daugher Anne, by the way).
Well, as you know, this guy juggles seven balls (which you don't do, as yet), AND is a professional mathematician (like you, kind of) - he really should know...
